Recently finished light green brand new soapstone sculpture. Violin key carving in a bit of an abstract or over shaped size. The sculpture is hand carved, by the traditional way, using hand tools for shaping and detailing, and standard water base sand papers for polishing. The stone base color is light green with shades of even lighter and darker green, what’s shows like layering in the stone. One solid piece no cracks, chips or stabilization. Pinned and stone epoxy glued on a round shape black Labradorite granite, what’s is also carved, with piano keyboard design. I titled the carving after one of my all time hit song from 1967 by the Doors, When the music’s over.

Signed and dated, authentication certificate attached upon purchase of the sculpture. An affordable original art for fellow artist or for friend, who’s close to music.

I can also personalize it in needed, by carving name or logo on the base.

11.5″ x 6.5″ x 4″

29 x 16.5 x 10 cm.

Showcase of original sculptures, and colorful stone carvings direct by Canadian artist. Soapstone and alabaster stones are the main medium, but some interesting stone specimen carvings also available for purchase. All carvings, by Gabriella /sagastone/ signed and dated, an authentication certificate always attached with the carving.
Custom carving request always welcome. Soapstone and alabaster pieces on stock most of the time, however all carving require different size and color.

This is a stunning carving – even more beautiful than the picture! I don’t want to give it away as a gift because it’s so stunning. But, it’ll make a lovely gift, I’m sure.
