The stone cat figurine is a new original carving. The black stone is a variety of soapstone Chlorite. The mini sculpture is a fantasy design hand-carved with hand tools polished with water base sandpapers to a bright shine. Sealed and buffed with natural nontoxic bee wax. The black stone has some white veins, which are calcite.
4.25″ x 3.75″ x 2.75″ 10.5 x 9 x 7 cm 1.060 kg.

Not too long ago a friend of mine went overseas for a few months and asked me for a favor to pet-sitting her cat while she was away. Of course, I took her in, but she didn’t like my home from the first minute. She was moody and gave me a face that couldn’t be misunderstood.
This stone cat figurine is the inspiration for Bony and her face. Obviously in a minimalized style that this type of stone allows.
The carving is an excellent gift idea that I can personalize by adding a name or a short message by carving or engraving on the base stone.
It’s a stone but recommended for indoor use. Outdoor use can cause the polish fades away.
