This Sodalite jewelry was created from a natural untreated Bolivian-origin mineral. The shape of the pendant is designed to show some white vein pattern that is the presence of calcite. It’s a nice deep or royal blue gemstone that is polished on lapidary diamond wheels to a bright shine. Set with sterling silver 21 gauge square and half round wire wrapping and with a silver plated 20″ x 1.5 mm snake chain necklace.

Although a deposit of Sodalite was found in British Columbia we haven’t gotten the chance to visit the site to collect this local specimen. It’s on our bucket list because the sample that we saw on rock and gem shows looks unique.
