Thulite is a manganese-bearing natural pink mineral the variety of the well-known Zoisite which is deep green. The green cloud in this pendant is a trace of it. Thulite was first discovered in early 1820 in Norway and named after the small island nearby. Since then, it was found in many other places in the world with slightly different shades of pink and sometimes more green in it. Like this Canadian version from British Columbia. In a close look, the sparkly manganese makes this stone more attractive.
The silver wire wrapping is a minimalist style simple design that focuses on the stone. It allows the stone’s entirely showing. A limited quantity of raw stone is still available for custom shapes and sizes cutting for request.
