The name, good fortune stone derive from its color. This Pyrite necklace looks like gold mixed with the black stone, and we all know, gold is associated with money, wealth and fortune. The black stone by the way is Magnetite, and with Pyrite showing, called Apache gold, or Healers gold. The raw stone fund on Vancouver island last summer, cut to pendant in our shop recently.
