Brown dancing bear 8″ tall soapstone figurine on a granite base.
The soapstone is a Brazilian-origin specimen with black veins and light brown spots. Hand carved with traditional hand tools and polished with standard water base sandpapers to a shiny and smooth surface finish. Sealed and buffed with natural non-toxic beeswax. The dancing bear figurine is new never been displayed. The granite base is dark brown-black with red spots and is polished as well. The figurine was pinned and stone epoxy glued to the base.
8″ x 3″ x 2.25″ 20 x 7.5 x 6 cm. 2.09.4 lb. 1.176 kg.
All sculptures and figurine carvings are my original idea and my work. The raw stone is acquired from a certified supplier and doesn’t contain asbestos or harmful minerals. The soapstone is not treated in any way, this is its natural colour. The beeswax sealing keeps it fresh looking for a long time to come, however, a few drops of olive oil and a gentle buff refreshing every other month is recommended.
