Dallasite is the third unofficial stone of British Columbia. Twice a year we take the ferry ride from the mainland, just to collect these magnificent specimens. The simple beauty of the stone never frustrated us, no two look alike, and it’s a joy to work with his gem.
Raw Dallasite is always in stock, and custom shape and size cutting is available. Sorry, we do not sell raw, we use it all.

This complex black stone sometimes called black Jasper inherited its name from the place where first found and identified as a unique mineral. Made of Hyaloclastite or the common name pillow basalt with various amounts of epidote, quartz, and carbonates. The combination of minerals was the result of a volcanic eruption that cooled rapidly in the cold ocean water. There’s no two-stone pattern look alike, it’s a masterpiece of nature.
