This spread legged, stretch armed figurine became a Canadian symbol during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. The Inuit stone structure usually made of boulders of rocks, and meant to show directions on the frozen arctics. The name Inukshuk means, find your way home. This modern version of soapstone Inukshuk figurine is hand carved and hand polished small size sculpture is for home decoration purposes. Carved from a black type of natural soapstone, actually called Chlorite, polished to a shiny bright finish. Sealed and buffed with natural non toxic bee wax. I can personalize it by adding name, short message, or whatever fit on the base stone carved or engraved for free of charge. Soapstone is a kind of soft stone, take a very nice polish, and has a tendency to pick up heat rapidly. By holding the heat for long time, attracting tiny dust particles, what can fades the shine by time. To refresh and keep it looking like new, required a few drops of olive oil and a soft cloth buff every other months.
